How to get a better SOP from it
- Name the trigger. "When a new client signs" or "On the last business day of the month" tells the AI when the procedure starts.
- Say who does it. Roles make the steps specific: "the office manager", "the shift lead".
- List the tools. If you mention your scheduling tool or accounting software by name, the steps will too.
- Include the rules. Deadlines, thresholds and approvals ("escalate refunds over $200") are what make an SOP useful.
- Do one process at a time. A whole department is several SOPs. Generate them one by one.
