Primary storage

What Where
Database (workspaces, SOPs, members, assignments, comments, interviews, logs) Supabase, AWS region us-east-1 (Northern Virginia, United States)
Files (images, screenshots, videos, temporary document uploads) Supabase Storage, same project and region
Sign-in accounts Supabase Auth, same project and region

This was confirmed against the project’s configuration on the date shown above.

Processing by other providers

Some data passes through other providers while a feature runs:

  • Vercel runs the web app and server functions. Vercel serves the app from its global network, so requests may be handled at a location near you before reaching the database.
  • Anthropic processes AI requests. Anthropic doesn’t publish a region choice for standard API use. See Is my data used to train AI models? for how long Anthropic keeps it.
  • ElevenLabs processes voice interviews.
  • Resend delivers notification emails.
  • Whop handles checkout and billing data.

See Subprocessors for the full list.

What we don’t offer

  • A choice of hosting region, including EU hosting
  • Customer managed encryption keys
  • A dedicated or single tenant deployment

If data residency is a requirement for you, email support@ironbridgeaiadvisory.com before you sign up so we can give you a straight answer.

Common questions

Can I choose to keep my data in the EU?

No. SOPCompass runs in a single region in the United States, and we don't offer a choice of region today.

Is data transferred outside the United States?

Your stored data is in the United States. The AI and email providers we use may process a request in their own infrastructure, as described in their terms. See the subprocessors page for each one.
