- What data is sent to the AI, feature by featureEach AI feature sends only what it needs for that one request, read with the requesting person's own permissions. This page lists what goes out for every feature, and what stays behind.
- Is my data used to train AI models?SOPCompass doesn't train models on your content, and Anthropic's commercial terms don't allow it to. ElevenLabs' standard terms are different, so the voice interview is covered separately below.
- How Ask stays grounded in your SOPs, with citationsAsk searches the SOPs you can open, sends the best eight to Claude, and asks it to answer only from them with numbered citations. When nothing covers the question, it says so instead of guessing.
- How Build with AI and the AI interview workBuild with AI interviews you by text or voice, then drafts SOPs and a filing plan. Nothing changes in your workspace until you approve each item, and changes to existing SOPs are snapshotted first.
- Drafting SOPs from documents, audio and videoImport a document, a recording of you talking, or a screen recording, and Claude drafts an SOP with sections and steps. Speech is transcribed in your browser, and you review the draft before it is saved.
- AI quiz draftingIn an SOP's quiz editor, Generate with AI drafts a few questions at a time from that SOP only. Each one is marked as an AI draft and must be kept or discarded before the quiz can be saved.
- Capture rewrite, and the limits on AI featuresThe capture rewrite turns steps like Click "Save" into clear instructions, and is capped at 20 per person per day. This page also lists the size limits and caps on every other AI feature.
- AI sort into pillars and departmentsBusinessAI sort reads your libraries and SOP outlines and proposes where each belongs. An admin approves or corrects every item on the Sort into pillars page before anything moves.
- The AI's writing style, and why it never uses em dashesAI output in SOPCompass is plain, specific and written as instructions, with no em or en dashes. The AI is told not to use them, and the app removes any that slip through.
- Accuracy limits and human reviewAI can misread, leave things out or state something with more confidence than it should. In SOPCompass the AI proposes and a person approves, and nothing AI written reaches your team without that step.
- Can I turn AI features off?There is no switch to turn AI off for a workspace today. Roles and plans already limit who can use each AI feature, and nothing is sent to an AI provider unless someone uses a feature.
