AI quiz drafting

Every SOP can have a short quiz that checks whether someone who read it knows how to do the work. An editor of the SOP can write questions by hand or draft them with AI.

Drafting questions

1. Open the SOP’s quiz editor.
2. Click Generate with AI.

Each click drafts 3 to 5 questions, and a quiz can hold up to 20.

Claude receives that one SOP, the workspace’s business description, and the questions already in the quiz so it doesn’t repeat them. Nothing else from your workspace is sent.

The rules it writes to

• Every question must be answerable from the SOP alone. No general knowledge, and nothing the SOP doesn’t say.
• Questions test what matters on the job: actions and their order, thresholds and amounts, who does or approves what, which tool is used, and what to do when something goes wrong.
• Exactly one correct answer, with wrong answers that are plausible to someone who skimmed. No “all of the above”.
• Multiple choice with 3 or 4 choices, or true or false for a clear rule.
• A one or two sentence explanation pointing back to the SOP.
• Where a question tests one step, it is linked to that step.

Drafts that come back malformed, for example with an empty choice or an answer that doesn’t match a choice, are dropped rather than repaired.

You keep or discard each draft

AI questions appear in the editor marked AI draft. Each waits for Keep or Discard, and Save stays off until every draft is decided. Kept questions can be edited like any other.

Important: Read each drafted question against the SOP before keeping it. The AI is told to test only what the SOP says, but it can still pick the wrong answer or write a misleading choice.

When the SOP changes

A saved quiz records a fingerprint of the SOP’s content. If the SOP is edited afterward, the quiz is flagged as possibly out of date, so an editor can review the questions.
