Ask answers questions about how your business works, using only your SOPs. Everyone in the workspace can use it, viewers included.

Ask a question

  1. Click Ask in the top menu.
  2. Type a question, such as “What do I do when a client asks for a refund?”
  3. Click Ask.

The answer cites the SOPs it drew on, with links so you can open the full procedure. If your SOPs do not cover the question, Ask says so plainly and points to the closest thing they do cover, instead of guessing.

Good questions to ask

  • “How do we onboard a new hire?”
  • “Who approves a discount over 10%?”
  • “What do I check before an event starts?”

Specific questions get specific answers. If a workspace has well-covered SOPs, Ask suggests topics to try.

What Ask can see

Ask searches the SOPs you can open in the workspace you are in, including libraries shared into it. It never draws on a workspace you are not a member of, and archived SOPs are not used.

Your question history

Every question you ask is saved under Recent questions, only for you, so you can reopen an answer later without asking again. You can remove one question or Clear all. See Ask and question history.

When Ask cannot answer

Questions your SOPs could not answer show up in Insights (Business plan) under “Questions the SOPs couldn’t answer”. That list is a good guide to what to write next. See Insights.
