Search and saved SOPs

Three ways to find an SOP fast, plus a private list of your own saved SOPs.

Updated
On this page
  1. Search
  2. Browse by tag
  3. Quick jump search
  4. Saved SOPs
  5. How searches help your team

Type in the Search SOPs box in the top bar and press Enter (on a phone, tap the magnifying glass). The Search page lists every SOP this workspace can see that matches, including libraries shared into it.

  • Search looks at SOP titles, card titles and step text. Title matches rank highest.
  • Each result shows a snippet with the matching words in bold.
  • Up to 50 results are shown.

If nothing matches, the page offers Ask the assistant, which hands your words to Ask. See Ask and your question history.

Browse by tag

Click a tag under any SOP’s title to list every SOP with that tag. See Owners, review dates and tags.

Press Ctrl+K (Cmd+K on a Mac), or / when you are not typing in a field. A search box opens over the page:

  • It searches every workspace you belong to at once.
  • Use the arrow keys and Enter to open a result.
  • With the box empty, it shows your recent searches.
  • If nothing matches, it offers to ask the question in Ask instead.

Saved SOPs

Save the SOPs you open often so they are one click away.

  1. Open the SOP.
  2. Click Save. It changes to Saved.

Click Saved in the top menu to see your list for the current workspace. Only you can see it. Click Saved on an SOP again to remove it.

If you lose access to a saved SOP (for example, a shared library stops being shared), it stays in the list so you can remove it.

How searches help your team

On the Business plan, searches feed Insights: what people search for most, and searches that have never found anything. The quick jump search is not counted there.

Common questions

Does search look inside steps?

Yes. Search matches SOP titles, card titles and step text, and ranks title matches highest.

Are archived SOPs in search results?

No. Archived SOPs leave search until they are restored. Find them under Boards, Archived.
