Owners, review dates and tags
Owner, review interval, next review date and tags, set from Edit mode on any SOP.
On this page
Each SOP can carry a few details that help keep it current and findable. Editors set them in Edit mode.
Owner
The Owner email is the person responsible for keeping the SOP accurate. It shows under the SOP’s title as “Owner” and on printed and exported copies. On the Business plan, Insights groups SOPs by owner so each owner can see what is due.
Review schedule
- Open the SOP and click Edit.
- In Review every (days), enter how often it should be reviewed, for example 90. SOPCompass sets Next review to that many days from today.
- Or set Next review to a specific date.
- Click Done.
When the next review date passes, the SOP shows Review overdue under its title for everyone who opens it. After reviewing, set a new Next review date.
On the Business plan, Insights shows, for each owner, how many SOPs are overdue for review, how many have no review set and how many are current.
Tags
Tags are free-form labels, such as “safety” or “new hire”.
- Click Edit on the SOP.
- Add tags in the Tags field.
Tags show under the SOP’s title. Clicking a tag lists every SOP with that tag. See Search and saved SOPs.
Departments and pillars
Departments and extra pillars are also set in Edit mode. See Pillars and departments.
