Workspace settings

Everything under People, Settings & billing, for owners and admins.

Updated
On this page
  1. Workspace details
  2. Plan and billing
  3. Add a workspace
  4. API keys

Owners and admins open settings from People, then the Settings & billing tab (or Settings on the Boards page).

Workspace details

  • Workspace name: shown in the workspace switcher, invitations and emails.
  • Website.
  • What the business does: who you serve, what you sell and how you deliver it. The AI uses this in Build with AI and AI sort, so a sentence or two here makes their suggestions fit your business.

Click Save to apply changes.

Plan and billing

This section shows:

  • Plan: Team or Business, monthly or yearly.
  • Status: for example Free trial, Active, Canceling, Payment failed or Ended.
  • Whether AI sort, Insights, library sharing, API are included.
  • When the trial ends, the plan renews or the plan ends.
  • Usage: workspaces and editors used against your plan’s limits. Viewers are unlimited and not counted.

The workspace’s owner also sees Change plan, Cancel subscription and a link to payment methods and receipts on Whop. See Plans and billing.

Add a workspace

On the Business plan, owners can add workspaces to the same subscription, up to 5 in total.

  1. Under Add a workspace to this plan, enter the brand or location name.
  2. Click Create workspace.

The new workspace gets its own Company area and five pillars, you are its owner, and SOPCompass switches to it. Its editors share the plan’s editor limit. See Multiple workspaces.

API keys

On the Business plan, owners and admins can create API keys so other tools can read SOPs, search, and (with a read and write key) add SOPs and assign SOPs. SOPs added through the API are marked as drafts, but everyone in the workspace can see them right away.

  1. Under API keys, enter a New key name, such as “Zapier”.
  2. Choose Read only or Read and write.
  3. Click Create key and copy it straight away. It is only shown once.

Each key shows when it was last used, and can be revoked. See the API overview for how to use it.
